His latest criticism came Tuesday after “Mike & Mike” hosts Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic interviewed Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino. Simmons went on a Twitter rant, claiming the interview was too soft.

His “feedback” for “Mike & Mike” is nothing new. He has been very critical of the popular morning radio show, for the same reason he mentioned Tuesday. Last October, he directed a similar tweet toward them for their interview with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
Even when he was with ESPN, he blasted the show. In November 2014 he tweeted, “I would say I lost respect for that show, but I never had it.”
