With the whole WWE Universe watching the event, the contract renewal is a big sign that he will be walking out of the Levi’s Stadium as the champion.
As per backstage talks, some creative changes have been suggested for the main event but there is no confirmation on that matter. One more major issue behind Reigns winning the title would be the reaction he would get from the fans as they would like it more for him to lose rather than win against Lesnar.
However, even if he loses, WWE are still willing to project him as a strong guy so that he can put on a good match and earn the respect of the fans. There is a feeling now that putting the belt on Reigns this early might be a situation he can’t recover from.
